To calibrate the temperature sensor in the FTSY804 device, proceed as follow:

1) Download the zip file containing the calibration software apk to be installed on your device from the link below to a PC and unzip it:

2) Copy the file app_uart_pcir_v2.apk to a USB stick and insert it into the USB connector of the termal scanner.

3) Access the android app panel by swiping upwards at the bottom edge of the termal scanner screen to bring up the android control bar. Press the Circle button and then swipe upwards with your finger on the arrows that appear in the bottom left corner.

4) Select the APKINSTALLER app and press the INSTALL button and select USB MEMORY

5) Select the app_uart_pcir_v2.apk at the bottom of the screen and wait for the application to finish installing.

6) Restart the thermal scanner and repeat step 3 and select the IrCameraSetting app from the panel

7) Verify that the selected serial port is ttyS3U and press the OPEN button.

8) Click on the GET OFFSET button. In the green zone the off set value will appear and then click on the GET BODY TEMPERATURE button and in the red zone the temperature measured in real time will appear

9) Position yourself in front of the device in order to detect your body temperature and check whether it corresponds to reality.

10) To calibrate the temperature touch the INPUT OFFSET area and enter a new off set value based on the observed temperature.

11) Press the SET OFFSET button and check how the measured temperature varies.

12) Proceed in this way until you reach the best temperature.
13) When finished, restart the device.
